• Guardianship & Conservatorship

We represent clients who wish to establish guardianships or conservatorships for loved ones.  Our firm also provides independent counsel for incapacitated adults who are the subjects of guardianship or conservatorship proceedings.  If appointed by the court, we will serve as guardian ad litem, guardian of the person, or conservator of the estate of an incapacitated adult.

• Medicaid

The Nesbitt Law Firm assists clients in the preparation and filing of Medicaid eligibility applications.  Such applications often become appropriate after a serious medical issue has depleted an individual’s assets but continued care is needed.

• Long-term care planning

We help clients prepare for the possibility that you or a loved one will require long-term medical care in the future.  This preparation can include execution of powers of attorney, tax and estate planning, and drafting of documents such as living wills and advance directives.
